The weakest part of any control system is its designer. The equipment is very reliable but humans are not they make mistakes. Garbage in more garbage out. Computers can do marvellous things when programmed to do so but one slip and who knows what might happen. The best thing to do is to flow chart the intended operation and then to set it up gradualy so the bugs can be ironed out.
