The Offline Crash Diagnostic tool helps reduce the time that support professionals require to correct kernel crashes in Windows XP. This tool automatically identifies crash dump information on a computer. Then, the tool uploads the results to Microsoft for analysis. Additionally, the tool returns a response URL to help the support professional suggest corrective action.

Oh that is simple. Just make sure you have performed every suggested update, and just task the machine with something critical without redundancy, i.e rely on it completely with no backup. This will work without fail, but only if your personal loss is substantial.

If software is your route, if a forensic analysis will almost certainly realize this. Given the level of inquiry, chance are good it could be traced back to you.

There are numerous non software avenues that would cause a crash, with varying levels of difficulty in tracing the cause.....but why would that be something to share in a public forum?

This sound's like a work related issue where someone wants a new laptop. Be thankful you have one, management borrowed mine and never gave it back.
