Nitrogen Consumption

Hi..

Pl guide me how we can find out the amount of nitrogen passed inside the condensor coils.(Nitrogen passed Inside the copper tubes before sending to the customer to avoid internal contamination)

We need to know the consumption of nitrogen

There are many ways of measuring flow. They depend upon the facilities available, none of which have been stated in the original posting for this thread.

1. First find the volume of the tubing.

2. Next find the flow rate of Nitrogen.

3. Then Finally, find the amount of nitrogen passed through the condenser coils.

Do you intend to evacuate the coils first, or rely on purging the air with the nitrogen?

Install a flow meter at the coil outlet and measure it.
