Spell Checker Additions

May I make a request for a word addition to the spell checker, reactance. It seems silly to me that this fundamental term of AC circuit impedance would be missing from an engineering forum spell checker.

"Cr4p" is also not considered!

It is a very important engineering expression!

You do know that there is not many people that use a spell checker! Only Germans probably do this . . .

Why bother brother?

The spell checker is now awful.

I can overlook the fact that British spellings are marked as wrong in many cases, but the recent changes have made the checker check only parts of some words, if you get it to correct a word, it adds on the parts it missed as extra letters, making a really strange word!!!!!!

It appears to be affected by if you key a wrong letter and move back to correct that.......

It used to be far far better, updates have brought the problem....

It may depend on your browser, but in the CR4 reply composing window, the menu bar at the top has an "ABC√" icon that activates the spiel chucker. But it doesn't catch correctly spelled words that are wrong.

Better yet, give the spell checker the ability to learn AND check spellings against online lexicons (technical AND general). It already looks as though GlobbleSpeck is using Big G's AdSense, given the targeted advert content of late (adverts for online horse-riding lessons, for example, during a recent heated PM debate about the reliability of Ford truck transmissions. I didn't even have to search for them and it even ordered a saddle and bridle from Amazon.com, a horse trailer from U:S. Trailers and of course the requisite Chevy truck to tow it all. :)
