I have been asked the following question - If a printed wiring board is designed to IPC2221 will it meet European standards? Problem is what European standard. I have searched the Internet and have come up empty so far. The European Space Agency has some standards, but none specifically having to do with PWB design guide (like IPC2221). Can anyone lead me to a European standard for PWB design requirements equivalent to IPC2221? This should cover Electronic hardware for use in space applications.
