Vortex Interruption

12/07/2012 5:51 PM

Hi All,

I remember some of my Fluid Flow and Transport Phenomena studies (including some equations regarding vortices), but I don't recall any information about how to interrupt a vortex and cause it to break down (ie: stop the vortex action). Any thoughts ?

Cut it off when it's talking!

Go back and review your notes.

It'll come back to you.

Add some baffles or vanes to keep the fluid from rotating.
