You should use insulated copper wire.

What this has to do with conveying powder, I don't know.

The question lacks any meaningful information.

Truthfully, I would just throw this one away and but another one.

thanks for the reminder the title should be kuka robot ripped wire yes make a containment action insulate the wire by means of electrical tape and i use a control cable but not design for the robot flexiblility it always ripped and create a short circuit.

Well then, what does KUKA Robotics say?

This sounds like a cable protection problem, but we are not kuka repair techs, and don't even know which robot, or what it looks like?????????

I gather from that that we are your first stop in your quest for an immaculate solution?

That's a solution that comes about with no conscious effort on the questioners part.

963 to be exact. Judging by the 47 words offered here, I think OP is doomed to fail.

OP, just solder a new wire in place of the old one. You know what size it was. We don't.

Better yet, buy a new one. This will reduce all our stress levels.

Then it sounds like the connection is not strong enough due to the location and movement (which makes sense based on what information you have provided).

What you need to do is replace the entire cable, a repair just isn't going to be Strong, flexible or reliable enough to work for more than a very short time.

Either talk to the Kuka robot supplier directly (chances are they have a replacement part you can order), or if they cannot help check the wiring cable or harness for manufacturer and model markings and talk with a cable supplier to get the same or a similar replacement (which is a special strong cable designed for flexibility).

You may need someone qualified to correctly and safely install the cable.

It would be prudent to supply existing wire size, gauge, length, and material. Location relative to other parts, and type of failure. Was it by friction, compression, or tension. Otherwise, I'd suggest 4 gauge welding cable run through 1 1/2 inch liquidtight conduit. See why specifics are important. Just sayin'.
