Naming of BOEING Flights

hi,

is there any relationship between TAN Angles & their values with the Inclination of Flight Wings subsequently the model numbers viz., 747,707,707 et al. ???

long back i heard somewhere and this seemed so fascinating that i bragged about my knowledge to everyone..

kindly someone help me out.....

Speaking of bragging, I was sitting in front of a couple on a 747 once a number of years ago. The guy was trying to impress his lady friend of his worldiness by showing off his knowledge of the airplane. So after spouting out a list of facts he then rattled-off the model number of the Pratt & Whitney engine used to power the plane. His lady friend interrupted him by asking, 'Then how come these engines have the Rolls Royce logo on them?' You could almost hear the air whistling out of that gas bag.

She was right; I had a window seat and I could clearly see the interlocked RR symbol.
