...except that it can be placed in the harshest environments and/or submerged, and it will still perform properly as long as the enclosure and the seals are compatible with the surroundings. Also known as IP 68.

Hermaphroditic relay. That means it has contacts that are both open and closed at the same time.

But you don't know which way they are until you look at them, yet when you look at them and see, they become no longer hermaphroditic. This is also known as a Schroedinger Relay.
