Pen Drive not Working

I have connected transcand pen drive to PC via usb port.

PC is showing connection in My Computer, but it is no opening.

Please help.

Is it a new one?

Did this drive ever work on this PC?

The drive may be empty, nothing on it to read.

Have you tried it on another USB slot, another PC?

Is your PC configured for no auto run?

it is 4years old one and yes it was working till now.

it is containing some data and i have tried it on another USB slots and PCs.

PC is not configured for no auto run.

This must be fairly common. The web-site says,

"If your flash drive is not working properly, in most cases it can be repaired instantly by using the recovery tool`s simple user-friendly interface."

Dear Mr soumilghotane,

1. Pl.check for virus. 2. Have you formatted before use. 3. Try to use the pen drive in the other USB port of your system. If not opening, pl. reformat it. 4. If you could have copied a larger volume of file - more than the capacity of pen drive, it won't copy and will remain blank.

We are curious to know the other possible reasons.
