	CR4 Admin writes: Even after the flood waters recede, the victims of Hurricanes Katrina & Rita will need our support. They lack food, clothing, and have likely lost all of their personal possessions. We have provided a list of links where you can donate time, money and resources to help alleviate this national tragedy, as well as informational links to find friends and loved ones. 	My wife and I signed up for this as we have a spare bedroom in our house. We haven't received any word yet on if we are being taken up on the offer, but things are progressing so slowly it might be October before we start thinking no one is coming. __________________ "The future is here. 	I also know a few people that simply walked up to people in the Hotels around our area (Houston) and made direct offers to share their homes. This truely shows the amount of compassion being felt for the victims of this disaster. Good luck!

	We are up in Albany, NY. Not sure how many people are willing to take the trek. I'm sure our sub-zero winters might have something to do with it. 	If you know young people interested in helping other young people, check out the "We've got your back!" campaign. The Hogg Middle School in Houston is collecting backpacks stuffed with school supplies and personal items to distribute to displaced students in the Gulf Coast region.
