01/02/2013 5:07 AM

Can I use silver paint to solder terminals for my piezoelectric igniter?

But the surface of the igniter is such that it is unable to hold the solder. what I mean is the terminals not getting soldered to that surface.

What about crimp on terminal connectors?

I'd use conductive epoxy, or perhaps use wire held in place with regular epoxy. Another option is copper foil tape that has a conductive adhesive.

Why not call the supplier or manufacture of the igniter?

They have what are called field engineers/technicians that are responsible for answering questions just like that.
