Without any context information, very little.

Are they smileys, for example?

How does that go?

How about "Me, myself, I" by Joan Armatrading?

I find them defined in the Siemens manual for the SIPROTEC 7SJ602 relay.

One wonders how it is possible to correctly select, commission and use these things without the manual being to hand....

I just had to look, since Doorman did all the work of finding it for us.

low-set overcurrent element (I>),

high-set overcurrent element (I>>)

and a high-set instantaneous element (I>>>).

I> = first measured phase current values, I>> = second measured phase current values, I>>> = unmeasured third phase current values.

The reason they don't say L1, L2, L3 or A, B, C, or R, S, T is because of what I just typed; this relay is sold all over the world, so which numbering convention do you use?

Also, this relay only accepts 2 CT inputs, so everything about the phase that does NOT have a CT on it is calculated, not measured. That means that you cannot display some values, such as anything relating to that unmeasured phase to neutral or ground current. But because you can connect it to CTs on any two of the 3 phases, they cannot name or number the phases, otherwise you could be reading the values incorrectly.

By the way, even though I used to work for Siemens, I have never used this relay. I didn't know this until now, nor do I think it is abunently clear in the manual. But part of being an engineer is using logical deduction to figure out what is going on from the information at hand. I'm not criticizing the other respondents, we don't need to invest much time in this because it's not really our job, we tend to give things cursory looks. But if you, Maikin, ARE the responsible party and if you are unable to take that leap of logic, maybe you should defer this responsibility to another engineer. Hopefully you are just someone who needs to read these values and not the relay programmer.
