Now you getting technically!

As in my laymans words:

trial assembly - not assembled to last. Its only to test whether or not it can be assembled

pre-Assembly - part of a house or machine can be preassembled prior to full assembly. Think of a complete bathroom being pre-assembled before fitting into a house to be build

Assembly - is to put something together (You might want to look up Wiki for all of this anyway) while fit up is more to equip something - think a car that by itself is ready to go and drive but you can still equip it with necessary items like a radio, GPS, Bottle holder and so on

Whereas Erection is used when you stand something up. you can erect a house more so a tower or a pole, something standing something high up!

Did you manage to get the house sorted out or you still looking for your options. building a house will probably see you here more often!

Cheers IS

trial assembly mean assemble small parts to big section before painting?

pre-assembly mean assemble each big section to a machine before delivery?

assembly mean group assembly of some small parts?

fit up mean equip small parts to machine ?

erection mean erect the machine to the final designated place?

am i understand right?

Perhaps it would be best if you kept your Erector Set parts in something besides that ol' raggedy potassium nitrate bag? Mr. Cat, you know darned well that stuff rusts the screws! And the nuts.

Good thing the OP didn't post in CR4's Plumbing Section. Lawdy, have you ever read some of their technical terms for stuff? I dunno how those guys make it in the Bible Belt, I'm tellin' ya! Prolly just tell everybody they're electricians or summat.

Easy trigger words here and there!
