01/30/2013 1:26 AM

Dear Sir,

We are manufacturing Cotton Bandages for Medical purposes in terms of rolls of 5 mtr to 10 mtr for a width of 5cm to 12 cm range, we need to the edge finshing to prevent fraying at the both ends of the bandages. and the same to be done with a glue and heat sealing system

Can anyone help us in suggesting suitable method / machine / system to achive the same.

Normally, when you weave to your required width, you don't have fraying. And when you want to convert and slit everything depends on the style and material of your bandage. If a sterile finish is the goal, a rolled- in glue is a bad choice.

It could be so simple.

Use polythene strip roll to both ends, take it through heat press rolls which will sand witch & heat set without curling. Use minimum possible strip width of polythene & specific microns.

Any packaging machinery manufacturer can do it for you.

If you want, here at Coimbatore, we can get it done for you.
