Compressed Air Consumption Calculation

02/02/2013 7:53 AM

Hello friends,

I need to calculate compressed air requirement in my factory for new compressor purchase. Currently I am running two compressors to fulfill air demand. I have capacity(As per manufacturer) and readings of both compressors i.e. Loaded hours, Running hours, Unload pressure/Load pressure, etc. You are requested to suggest way how can I calculate current air consumption in CFM with the help of available data. I am not having any digital OR analog flow meter to install in main line.

I have tried with Google but not succeed. Kindly reply with solution.

Thanks in advance..

Multiply the run hours of each compressor by its capacity, add the two together and then divide the total by the interval between this reading and the previous reading.
