Stephan,

You have to be more specific to get a good answer or you should get answer with which you will burn your oven or endanger your life .

What's the mains voltage, the voltage and power of the heater and yours oven characteristics.

Good luck

There are two choices: in series or parallel pairs. Which of these depends on the rated voltage of the individual elements compared to the line-to-line voltage of the electrical system.

...and the watts density you can live with or want to attain. The total heat going into the oven chamber will not change, it is based on the total watts going in. But what will change is the actual surface temperature of the heating element, known as the watt density, which can be manipulated by virtue of the connection pattern to change the applied voltage across the circuit. If you use too high of a watt density, the surface of the element can be so hot that it can damage something. Too low, and the recovery time from exchanging air, for example opening a door, can be too long and cause problems with your process.

If you know nothing about all of this, I suggest getting someone involved who is familiar with the concepts.

Follow the oven manufacturer's installation instructions document, which came with it when it was purchased. If these are not available for some reason, contact the oven manufacturer directly by telephone for advice and the supply of a replacement.
