Power on transformer

Dear All

For 33kv, 22kv & 6.6kv transformer after power turn on how long it will kept on and monitor to ensure no faulty in the system.

If there is faulty in the system, the transformer probably won't stay on very long - the magic smoke will all leak out.

Hopefully your protective devices (fuses or circuit breakers) will do their job quickly to try to prevent this from happening. If the transformer works for longer than the protection trip times (without a trip), it's probably okay. What does your commissioning spec say?

For 33kV it will monitor about 60 days

For 22kV it will monitor about 40 days

For 6.6kV it will explode immediatly after it was put on and the devil will come and take it for his fires
