Please let us invite you to join the forum under an identifiable name. Your question is very sensible, and there is no reason to conceal yourself. Commercial and legal practices differ from country to country, and thus it is good to know some of the main variations.

Apart from legal formalities, it is good to be "up front" with suppliers and clients, precisely because open communication fosters the clearing of misunderstandings. It is natural for such problems to occur, and best to resolve them openly and amicably.

Local custom may also flavor the transaction. Maybe some help here↓?

It depends on contract law in your locale, as applied to the language in the contract documents.

In some places, the documents are considered supplemental to each other. If an item shows in the wording OR in the drawings, the bidder is responsible for it, even if it is absent from the other document. In other places, the wording alone might be decisive.

Many variations are possible, and no general rule can cover all.

In the tender documents(specs, drawings,BOQ,terms & conditions etc) it should be mentioned which supercedes drawing or boq or specs. Speak to consultant too and clarify from authorities in your country.
