Is There a Doctor in the House?

04/13/2013 1:53 PM

You have heard people say; "it's nice to have a doctor, or dentist or lawyer in the family". That may be true, but I would like to add another profession to that list; a computer guru.

Got them both covered. Got an accountant, too. No lawyers, though; we're decent folk.

Don't ever take the job of computer guru with family or friends. You will own that computer forever. Anything that ever, (and forever), goes wrong with that machine will be your fault.

I don't profess to be a computer guru. On the contrary, I am barely able to conquer the most menial tasks. Whenever I have a problem with any type of computer stuff or electronics like audio equipment, I have a thirteen year old niece that I ask and she can do it all. I don't know. Must be something I don't understand about that.
