High Gland Sealing Pressure

What will happen to the turbine performance & complete system if the turbine Gland Sealing Pressure goes high?

The gland will leak. As to what happens next, well, that depends upon the pressures either side of the gland and the effect the sealing fluid has on the process materials each side of the gland.

Eventually, system failure. That's why manufactures provide operating parameters.

A better question might be: "Why is the turbine Gland Sealing Pressure high?"

If you fix that problem, you won't have to worry about what happens next.
