3 Phase Compressors

Regards to all, pls i'll like to know: Does 3 phase compressor use starting & or running capacitors?

Most if not all single-phase compressor motors use capacitors for starting. Most three-phase compressors do not use capacitors; but if they do, it is for improving power factor rather than starting.

Usually no, but it is conceivable that power factor correction capacitors might be present.

a 3 phase capacitor? not very likely in your application.

they sometimes use for capacitor-assisted starting of induction motor. Same could be used for PFC once started.
