We have a Jenn-air dishwasher that has the knobs inside the door panel. Last year the touch panel stopped working and in reading up, found that this is a chronic issue with similar models and most of the time, the cable connector gets rusted due to the moisture(duh)
I got the touch panel replaced (under warranty), and the same issue happened again this year.. which I replaced again (under extended warranty
)
I am wondering if I could use silicon caulking around the cable connector to protect it from moisture? as I plan not to renew the warranty..
any other ideas??
