Regeneration of Dew Point Meter

We have a dew point meter installed on instrument air dryer . This meter shows instrument air dew point. The meter was not showing correct reading and when replaced with new one the correct reading was obnserved. This meter has been installed for five to six years on our system and no preventive or regeneration type thing was done on it. Are there any preventive or regeneration routines on these analyzers

Did not this meter come with an instruction/maintenance manual? If not, call the supplier.

hi,

the sensor has been contaminated during its service time.

It can NOT be cleaned.

Dump it.

There are different types of dew point analyzers. We need to know which type you have in order to be of any help at all. The best type will depend on your application. For dealing with gas and water vapor, I prefer the chilled mirror type of dew point meter because it is a fundamental measurement that doesn't rely on sensor stability for accuracy.

Is there some reason why the instruction manual that came with it is unavailable?

Is there some reason why the equipment manufacturer's technical staff cannot be reached on the telephone?
