Not problem if your electricity comes from hydroelectric power generation, you are using water technology to charge your mobile phone.

Do not dip your phone in water and expect it to recharge.

If you were in an electric submarine whose batteries were charged with hydroelectricity and you had a mobile phone charger and adapter, then yes....of course you would probably need a remote antenna floating on the surface and connected your phone to get a good signal....

If you have one of these phones, you might actually have no water. After switching off the phone, start removing everything possible. Gently shake the phone to get rid of any water present in the headphone jack, charging port or under the ... This is one of the most commonly used and known techniques.
