What does the symbol MFZnFe5-C for finish plating means?

It seems to be a company created specification based on a industry standard. I would contact the supplier and ask them for clarity or a copy of the special standard..... there is a widely used coating here in the US that applies a 0.2 mil (0.0002 in.) thick coating of zinc and then a yellow chromate coating over the zinc on mild steel parts....The 5 probably stands for 5 microns thick chromate coating...

It's a Nissan/Mazda/Isuzu plating specification.

JIS standard for MFZn5-c coating is G 3010

Follow the leads given here and purchase the specification, or talk to a zinc plater.

Rumor is that the plating spec can be downloaded here:

I have not verified this personally.
