	Dear sirs I like to convert a 110v universal motor to a DC generator. How many voltage can I apply to the field winding ? I expect somebody to answer this pleaaaase Thanks.

	If continuous duty, read nameplate for rated amps. Measure resistance of field winding and apply sufficient voltage to field winding to get rated amps. If field winding doesn't get too hot, the voltage you are using is probably OK.
