PLC and DCS Hardwired Signals

Do anybody have any literature or related documents of a plant that has plc to dcs hardwired and soft signal exchange list?

I am new to these things .Please help

Contact the equipment manufacturer directly to determine the way that soft signals are exchanged, for the protocol varies from make to make.

Look at the project-specific I/O lists and respective schematic drawings to determine the hard signals.

If you are new to this, order a small PLC and a modest HMI to build a practice application, that will make clear for you the concepts of hardwired and soft signals, and what memory mapping is, meanwhile read this document.
