Level Question

in Glycol reboiler vessel,the level is always changing. what is the reason? reboiler temperature is 200degree celcius.we used the specific gravity of 1. there is relation with specific gravity and level?

There's a relation with specific gravity and temperature. That MAY affect the level.

I don't understand why this thread is in the Instrumentation section. I also do not understand why you are puzzled that the liquid level would change in a boiler assembly of any fluid. The design of the machine includes a method to measure the liquid level for a reason, it will change. If it was impossible to change the level then measuring it would be a waste of time. Additionally thermal expansion happens with all fluids. Heating a fluid to the boiling point will make it expand. Then comes the very definition of boiling a liquid. Boiling converts a liquid to a gas. So the liquid level will again change. Let's not forget that a leak could also happen.

It worries me that you seem to think that the fluid level of a liquid in a boiler should be constant.
