Solid Works

Dear Members,

Basically I am a"STORAGE TANK CALIBRATOR" and I would like to know about the "SOLID WORKS" and its role in the "Storage Tank Calibration" and the equipment required for the "SOLID WORKS" system of tank calibration.Pl explain in detail.

I think you just draw the tank/vessel in 3D in SolidWorks, add a liquid surface, and let SolidWorks compute the volume. Repeat at various levels, and you get the tank/vessel calibration.

You will need a milticore 64 bit computer as much fast ram as you can afford solidworks 2012-13 a good graphics card Nvidia Quadro with at least 1 gig onboard Depending on the complexity of the tank shape material etc and the filling you wish to contain the output and flow rates are determined by the valves openings etc
