Updated a Discussion to Remove Comments Trouble

08/29/2013 7:31 AM

Has CR4 been programing around on this site?

I have been updating my discussion and new comments are updated (removed) but mine that I have posted.

And the only way to remove my post as read is to updated a difference discussion then come back to the previous discussion and update .

Seems this just started recently.

I'm not sure I fully understand your problem but I haven't been made aware of changes made to the discussion subscription functionality.

In order for the new comment indicator to go away I've always had to:

  • Go to the subscribed discussion list
  • Go to the thread with new comments
  • Mark all as read
  • Navigate to another page (not click the back button) and that one is no longer marked as new

Alternately, I can:

  • Go to the subscribed discussion list
  • Click the checkboxes next to the ones I've read or don't want to read
  • Mark as read at the bottom of the page
