WPS/PQR/WPQ

09/10/2013 12:29 AM

Hi,

Can somebody tell me what are the main points/variables to take care while preparing WPS? OR if boss/manager tell you to prepare a WPS then how to start that? And what is P number? F number? A number? And how to select electrode for the given materials?

Please clarify all above to help me.

Regards

Nadeem Ahmed

Many people could tell you. The question is, why would they waste their time when you don't even understand what you are asking.

Have you searched for the answer to your disjointed question?

In taking care of anything, a good acronymectomy does help. Is this thread about welding, then?

You need to study about welding and its requirements according to the welding code.

If you are asking these questions there is no way you are qualified to do what your boss is asking.
