Off-Topic Political Rant

After the recently closed thread discussing the government shutdown, I can see where the majority of opinions lie with the users of this forum.

I feel ashamed to say that I associate with so many people who don't think I earn an honest living wage. My 26 years of accumulated government service, with twenty in the armed forces, is apparently not what most of the educated members of this forum consider a "real job". It seems that most of America feels the same way.

I wasted some time looking back at the responses of members with regard to similar topics. I found myself even more dismayed.

It's not anybody's fault but my own for the line of work of which I find myself, and for this day which I find myself laid-off again.
