Low Voltage Relay

10/26/2013 12:58 PM

Hello I am looking for a low voltage relay(battery backup preferred) that sends signal when the detector is ruptured to valve I am looking for a converter box to supply a signal box from a 3A@125 VAC, 1A@28VDC, 0.3 A@125VDC, 0.1A @250VDC CANADIAN MADE SENSOR TO A 24,120,240 AC 60 HZ 0R 6,12,24 DC VALVE THAT WILL HAVE BATTERY BACKUP IN CASE OF POWER FAILURE. Digital is fine Thank you, Terry Sullivan Safely Home Inc

Your description makes no sense.

I am looking for a low voltage closed relay(battery backup preferred) that sends signal when the outdoor detector is ruptured to open signal and relay signal to indoor valve. This closed circut relay to supply a signal when ruptured from a 3A@125 VAC, 1A@28VDC, 0.3 amp.125VDC, 0.1A @250VDC Canadian sensor to a 12,24,120,240 AC 60 HZ 0R 6,12,24 DC Valve.

Would like battery backup in case of power failure

It still doesn't make sense.

It is still unclear what 'ruptured' means.

Wouldn't a standard relay with both normally open and normally closed contacts do the trick (a DPDT type for example)?

You could wire the circuit so that in the event of a power failure the relay automatically closes and sends the signal using the normally closed contacts. No battery required!
