UFO's and Other Strange Things

10/28/2013 3:34 PM

A bit of a change of subject, some humour and lightheartedness. I occasionally follow what is happening on the UFO front around the world. Yes, those Unidentified Flying Objects, that frequent You Tube. All of course seen in the USA and Mexico on a daily basis .
The posted videos, mostly are of out of focus shots of birds, or plastic bags floating on thermals, or green screen footage, or clever mastery of the computer, and made at home, for a laugh. Some just cannot quite be explained easily as hoaxes. But, 90% are just rubbish, 5% make one look closer and 5%, well, one cannot be sure at all. (I am trying to be fair here in my estimation of percentages).
In doing some research on UFO's and anti gravitational machines, I discover many countries have been involved with such research and programs, none less so, than the USA. So it may be possible that the US military has invented such flying devices, and, it (they), may have been seen by people in everyday lives, test flying around the country sides. i.e The TRUTH About the Aurora Hypersonic Jet. So UFO's could exist and be run by the military under the guise of alien UFO's.

The questions proffered here are; if aliens exist and visit planet earth on a pretty regular basis, why would they use flying saucers or crafts to get here, when, as we have progressed, so have they, (in more leaps and bounds, than we simple earthlings have). Surely they would be using technology that we have not found yet, and they would be using teleportation, worm holes, space portals or gates, or some other unknown methods, systems.
Why would the aliens bother to use spacecraft, UFO's, flying saucers, flying discs etc, when they can get here simpler and easier?
And, why are so many reported sighting, (the bulk of reports, videos, photographs, etc) limited to the USA and Mexico? (Mexico is becoming a hot area again).
Yes, Wiltshire, England, has a few sightings too. However, most are in America.
Do aliens want to see Disney Land so badly, or like hamburgers or spicy Mexican foods so much?

Thank you. I am so happy you provided this chart. It is clear that I have been seeing a lot of weather balloons in my life, but I shall keep a keen eye open (as I only have one eye), for the swamp gas. Thanks again.

Cheers for that link. Looks rather interesting so I shall delve into this one. May be a possible for UFO sightings and may be possible to change the transparency to a colour to match the sky. The mind boggles!!!

It was only mentioned in in a larger post of mine.

Link

I didn't provide a link and I cannot find it in my records. The article was on a military news website for a new (at the time) American armoured personal carrier or something so you could probably find it with an internet search.

Are you not in communication with the good lady? Or are the solar flares disrupting communications. I could use her guidance on my quest for answers.

I give up. Why do people drive antique cars? Is it because they are quicker and easier to steal?

Re: UFO's and Other Strange Things

I think this subject divides into two parts. 1:Very interesting psychology 2:Either the UFOs are real or something paranormal is going on.

1. Psychology.

C.G. Jung said that people have an innate propensity toward having mystical experiences. Those experiences will tend to manifest in a guise that the individual has been socialised into. So Christians will see in their visions/dreams images of Christ or Saints but the underlying message in such visions are in accord with some very ancient agenda the psyche has maybe regarding a promotion of wholeness of the persons personality. A person socialised into Wicca will see in their visions some Wicca Deity again the underlying message is an ancient agenda. In a world like ours where religion and the supernatural is mostly (possibly unreasonably) discredited people will still have visions but of a form considered vaguely credible like UFO and UFO abduction. Something that I think is important is that to not be too fast to write off such visions because there may will be some underlying intent of the psyche ... for example an effort to introduce into a sterile material way of life some spirituality.

2:Either the UFOs are real or something paranormal is going on.

Dean Radin wrote some books which make a interesting case for the reality of paranormal phenomena. Its seems to me possible that the observers of the UFOs may somehow be generating the UFOs themselves and that some things not yet understood by science is going on. Consider that in the early days of investigation of radio waves some people of science thought them a occult phenomena and for long enough ball lightening was considered in the same camp too but now seems to be widely thought of as a real phenomena.

It also seems possible to me that a very small number of ufo reports could simply be people from our own future coming to look at us or beings from another world. Two interesting cases that pop to mind are foo fighters in the second world war: If some future humans did manage to develop time travel what more interesting time to go look at than WW2. Another case worth a look at is the Rendlesham forest incident in the uk and an interesting person to listen to is Nick Pope http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B07yd8Ke0yE

There is the other aspect of things which boils down to simply the observers level of understanding, basic intelligence. and willingness to actually think through what they saw.

I deal with this with my wife all the time who credits my applied knowledge of mechanical electrical and other things and such stuff as I am "tapped into the greater consciousness of reality" or some nonsense as that being she can't figure out how I can know what I do.

Really it all comes down to I have a lot of hands on experience and a good memory relating to the stuff I do. That and I don't start my new learning experiences with "I can't do that" like she usually does.

Such things as looking at tealeaves is interesting. There is no objective reasoning behind their pattern and because of that it gives the mind free range to say I can see such and such in the future/present/past. Psychologists might say such a situation provides an opportunity for projecting unconscious material.... so looking at tealeaves can be a bit like waking dreaming. Whats interesting to me is the what the mind digs out from its depths. Freud said the depths contain a storehouse of detritus and Jung said the depths contain ancestral/group memory and charged images of the divine and possibly some paranormal goings on. When the alchemists looked at their chemicals they did not understand them and so were plugged into this depth. Alchemy was an occult practice. When your wife looks at you doing science she does not understand and is plugged into that depths but declares it is you that is so plugged in when really it is she. When some people see a sheet of plastic caught by the wind they don't understand what they see and so see something inside their own mind.

UFOs are real. However, as soon as an explanation becomes clear, they are no longer UFOs.

UFOs only become real, when they are explained.

Of course UFOs are real. In my life, I have seen a few, and they were exactly what the name implies. They were things in the sky that I could not identify. What were these things? If I knew what they were, they wouldn't be UFOs.

I have also noted that UFOs are easier to spot when looking through the bottom of a beer bottle (or at Tequila bottle when in Mexico).

This one continues...with no reasonable explanations offered:

I don't see how humans could drain an animal of blood, in a field, and leave nothing on the ground.

Have a look at the Baltic Sea UFO, or better, look at the slow motion video footage of the Russian 'meteor' from a few months ago. Pay particular attention to the front of the explosion. Most interesting footage.

It does leave one asking a question!

Although most siting's are fiction, there are a few now and then that are very credible. The following is an account by 2 BOAC pilots (British Overseas Airways Corp., later British Airways). I cannot think of any reason why a captain of a large airliner, flying for an international airline would want to lie.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_Y8Lb42lKc

Hope this link works, if not just enter BOAC UFO encounter.
