Integration of PLC System

Dear All
we are working for one of the project where we have to integrate 2 wire TT with our PLC System
we have one analog input in our PLC System & TT shall be shall be communicating with the same
there is one more process indicator which can accept input from RTD as well as 4-20 mA Transmitter supply shall be 24 VDC loop powered from output
how can i integrate the above process indicator along with my TT & PLC System i dont have option to increase the analog input

If you don't need both values continuously (i.e. if the variables are slowly changing) you could use a digital output to drive a relay to multiplex between the two inputs.

The indicator is merely linked in series with the temperature transmitter. The output and the RTD input are not needed.

1. Either you can connect the analog signal in series with the PLC & the indicator. Or

2. Use a current multiplier. One analog i/p & two analog o/ps. Connect it to PLC & the indicator.
