LCD Display Not Showing Pictures

i have lcd display to show the motor position control by PID, but my lcd not show the pictures after i firing IGBT to run the motor.

What kind of LCD is it? does it get power? is it an negative TN type? is the backlight working? is it a TFT matrix or a OLed type? we need more information to give a clear answer.

I think that maybe the LCD display is on sympathetic strike because the mean old OP fired his IGBT.
