Calibration Procedures for Floating Rook Tanks

Dear Friends,

can anybody help me in this matter.

(i)Calibration procedures for the Floating Roof Tanks.

(ii)Any free downloading sites are available.

(iii)How to calculate the volume of the tank when it is

(a)in short legs

(b)in long legs

(iv)what is IS for the Floating Roof Tank calibration and the preparation of calibration charts.

Persistent rascal, aren't you? I don't know the rules in India, but from my past experience, if this tank will be used for custody transfer, the gauging tables have to be provided by an authorized third party, who will come out and take tank measurements. Probably spelled out in the purchase/sale contracts. If this is being used for company internal purposes, we did it ourselves using design dimensions. If you read this reference it mentions some relevant standards. And no, as far as I know, they are not free.
