TYPING IN ALL CAPS IS CONSIDERED RUDE.

"WHEN DO WE USE THEM?"

Use them after you know what they are.

At this point, I'd say you need to do some serious research, not ask strangers to educate you.

What I mind is rude people who want someone else to do their work for them, like you!

You did not come here with an engineering problem, you came here to get others to provide you with information that you should know, or else you should not be trying to do a "project".

Projects are normally things students do in school? Are you a student?

From your first (only other) post:

What is the difference between rtd, thermowell and temperature element?

This could be the reason we are skeptical of your intelligence.

Please stop shouting. Your inclusion of the word "Thanks" is proof that you have a lower register.

You also need to form cogent thoughts or you will not get any help. You obviously have oversight concerns for this instrumentation project but you tell us nothing about the instrumentation itself. So I cannot help you. You will get a different set of answers to your question if this instrumentation is for an experiment at the Large Hadron Collider or the climate in a hot house of a nursery, or the operation of Volvo sports wagon.

To follow up with Lyn's post, we also do not do other's home work for them. You need to pay attention in school and do your own research. Then if you have a legitimate question about something feel free to ask, (without the CAPS)

It wouldn't hurt my feelings if sola123 was ex-communicated either. Man, some people's kids, huh?
