WPS Qualification with A 516 Gr60 & S355J2N

Is it possible to carry out WPS by welding together A 516 Gr60 & S355J2N.What will be acceptance criteria for mechanical test.ie A516 or S355J2N.

For general purpose, there is no problem to weld both these materials. (Eg: - For welder training or Equipment fabrication for personal usage).

However, there is some problem for preparing WPS for coded work.

The data you provided is only material of construction.. Could you provide following details,

1. This WPS for Pressure part welding OR Non pressure part welding OR Pressure part to Non pressure part welding?

2. Construction Code?

3. Welding Code?

Equipment is Treated water dump Caisson,Design pressure is 35 kg/cm2,Its a non coded stamped. Code Welding is Sec VIII div-1 and sec IX, and welding is for Shell (S355J2N) and Head is (A516 gr 60).WPS is for pressure parts.

I know only AWS D1.1,AWS D1.1, AWS D.1 and AWS D1.1, BS EN ISO 15614-1 and EN ISO 287-1
