This is still the same burner set up? In the link we provided last time you can find the supplier's address and phone. Perhaps he can help you out.

Can you explain what exactly:

last year ash percentage of Average APH-49.67%,ECON-41.35%,33.90%

This Year ash percentage of Average APH-51.16%,ECON-57.35%,24.23%

all these figures represent in the first place.

APH : average percentage per hour? or total over one hour?

what do ECON-XXXXXX,XXXXXX represent?

I guess roughly: this year was more dirt produced. Raw stock differences or process parameters changed?

Dear Mr.basavaraj04

Your data furnished is in sufficient. I am of the view tat the ash content referred by you is on the higher side.

Ash Percentage increase this year indicates, the ash particles are settling down - this will be due to less velocity of Flue Gas or Higher Size Particle of Ash, which cannot gain required Kinetic Energy to pass through.

Pl. check the records of working data of last year draught and this year working draught, and also check for any short circuiting of Flue gas, Air ingress etc.

The thorough check of Flue Gas path with relative drop in Draught at different places to be measured and compared with original design value.

Presume you are burning coal. How is it being fired. Do you do a coal analysis at different times? Have you changed the fuel/air ratio?

Perhaps this may be due to the change in the buring coal also.

Proper analysis of coal if provided can be more useful to you.

Check if the fuel use has been increased since the factor that effects the ash quantity is coal consumed presuming that the boiler is coal fired.

Let us know more details so that we can help you better.

It's irritating when somebody puts a question to the group then does not reply to requests for more information. Time wasting!!!

I try to help but typing down a booklet for a few lines no sense question, sorry but not me anymore. What is the ash he measures: in the chimney? or the remaining ash waste through the grill? I hope it is not the chimney blast. It must be really difficult to give some details, just like he did before. I quit.
