I woud like to know about filler material used in Ceramic Electrodes used for corona generation for Plastic lamination processing.

Lyn, only up to the limit one is willing to take all risk and has enough insurance cover perhaps for himself and his entire factory where one works and going to use the advise. Good luck. So far so good.

Information on your link is excellent. I never thought of anything like Ceramic Electrode. I thought there may be something called metal coated ceramic electrode or Ceramic insulated Electrodes.

Dear Sir,

The Electrode is made of a ceramic tube through which a copper conductor passes through its center,the tube dia is 12mm OD , ID is 6mm, And electrode dia is 2.5mm.in between the copper electrode and the ceramic tube, is filled a gray coloured powder (composition unknown). What materials are used ? this is to be used for corona treatment

Get the chemicals analyzed if that is important to you.

It may be some kind of semiconducting filler which may have created voltage gradient or stray charge elimination which may be developing on ceramic or it may be just a space filler.
