What do you do to put the question in paragraphs rather than a mind numbing block

If all I could write was "mind numbing blocks", I would get somebody else to write my material.....

Use the "." and "Enter" keys.

I looked at your other posts, so I understand what you are asking.

When you post something here at CR4, there are no paragraphs; your comment appears here as one long string of sentences, though when you typed it out the paragraphs are separated.

This is a function of your browser. Other members have figured out workarounds for whatever they are using. Can you tell us which browser you are using; someone will probably come forward with a solution to make your comments appear as you wish.

When all else fails, type a period

.

between

.

paragraphs.

I'm using Mozilla's Firefox browser and paragraph spacing appears to work normally. In the past, however, it did not, but things change.

Using Firefox/XP, You can force a (single) blank line by holding down [shift] while keyng [Enter]

(Think Del the Cat told me, but apologies if it was someone else)

Only seems to work for one blank line.

[Edit] - don't need [shift] these days - time was.

Even so, this editor collapses multiple, consecutive blank lines into a single blank line. Not really a problem and never was. Really, this editor is very well written and light-years better than the one available on Google+.

It's so good I even wrote Vic Gundotra, Google's VP who oversees Google+, to take a look at CR4's website and How It's Done Right. Google could learn a thing or two from looking at this site's design as well as xkcd's (AFAIC, the two best-designed forums Out There). Told Gundotra it was designed by one person - Mark Gaulin - and if one guy can do it, why not Google with their huge resources?

The result? No change. Google+'s site still looks and functions like something designed by primary-school students. Ah, well.

Agreed - no problem. I'm sure tho' that back a while there was no (easy) way to leave even a single blank line. I remember pasting images of whitespace to create the illusion of whitespace.

Can't comment about Google+ - I don't go there.

Bit of history (I see you're a Newbie) - one used to be able to post animated GIFs using the "geen camera" icon - but the facility was disabled. My (animated GIF) avatar was uploaded a looong time ago.
