Space for Video on CR4

03/01/2014 10:47 AM

I do not know about the rest of you, but what about a section on here that we could put limited size video clips ? I know we can all go to You Tube , but could we have something like that "in-house" here at CR4??

Now don't someone go make a fool out of me and tell me we already have this and all of these years I never knew!

I think the software platform that runs CR4 was written in house, so coming up with a way to upload video, along with playback in all of the different formats, would probably be a pretty tall order.

I don't know how difficult it is, but I figure that if it was easy, FB would have it.

I have serious doubts about that request being that so far just getting the posting time out issue fixed has been too big of challenge to deal with.

Never mind the list of other peeves that go beyond that.

If you want to put video someplace put it on YouTube or another such site that is designed to work with that sort of stuff and put a link to it.

Understood.

It was just a question I had. Now I know the what and the why.

We are not allowed to put pictures that are of a reasonable or high definition on CR4, so I seriously doubt that anyone will allow video that requires many times more space......

And besides, once that happens the corporate net nannies will 'see' streaming video coming from this site and they will block it. Please don't. I don't want to have to wait until I get home to get my CR4 fix.

P.S. (I'm doing this on my lunch hour of course. )
