Stream Genarator

03/06/2014 11:17 AM

hi everybody,

i have trying to overcome serious problem in these days and need your help. i have 2 stream generator (1000kg/h and 1500 kg/h buderus) and middle of the last year we met very serious water problem (my softening unit had been giving all its waste water to the system and i cathed it after all my system collapsed). after this water problem i changed almost all system including some of pipes, tank, serpantines (one of the serpantine wich was belong to the 1000kg/h had a problem and 5 helix of it changed). before taking over the system, we made boiling out. before boiling out about 1 or 2 week we used the system the system has working problem such as pressure etc so we decided to make boiling out. after boiling out one of the generator has chimmey pressure and temprature problem (normally the 1000kg/h one Works on 6 bar and 200-220 santigrad degrees in chemmey, but during this prosses it Works low pressure and very high chemmey tempreture more than 400C so it closed itself). then i opened it and get out the serpantine. ı was shocked cause the bottom part of the serpantine (almost all the changed part) was burned and get out its place!!! i can understand what happened. now i am drying the all system but still have iron all sytem:( do you have any idea?

I would have picked up the phone and talked to the boiler manufacturer long ago, Boss.

It sounds as though the boiler has been operated on exceptionally low water level. If so, then it needs to be taken out of service immediately and subjected to a detailed internal and external examination and assessment by the insurance company's Surveyor/Engineer before proceeding further. Do do otherwise in such circumstances would risk explosion and/or collapse with life-threatening consequences quite apart from the process and infrastructure losses that would ensue. Use hired boilers in the meantime so as to keep steam users supplied.

my make up water tank has an alarm for low water condition. since i thought it had worked without water but boiler manufacturer says " in that condition system closed itsself". I have already stop using this generator. i am working with my other system. but i couldnt stop the iron ions from condensate back. the company that i am work with highly recomend me to make bluff from back of the condansate and pour the condansate tank Daily until the system get into control.

That makes little sense here.

Please describe how the equipment is inspected for burst/collapse indemnity insurance cover. What inspection test records are held? What is the statutory inspection frequency at that location? What did the insurance company's Engineer/Surveyor state on the last inspection report, and how long ago was it? Was it before this incident took place? If so, when is the next inspection due?
