Generator Reactance

What is meant by sub-Transient reactance, Transient reactance and Steady state reactance?
Also why are they different i.e sub-transient is lowest and steady state is highest?

What did your internet search come up with and which question was not answered to your satisfaction?

What a great opportunity for a Google search!

Slacky! Remember that Lyn himself departed from his ventures with LynGoogle due to the unsatisfactory results from his search for help for all the clueless.

See here: http://cr4.globalspec.com/thread/88701

Not sure what is appropriate now, but I think we should call it: Internet Search for just now!

Complains to be directed to OP.

Thanks!

Yes, that put-down was actually selected for inclusion in the member posts published on the CR4 Linkedin web site.

I just give the slackers this:How to Search the Internet - Hannon Library

Slackers is not to be confused with respected member PWSlack.

It isn't simple to clarify these kind of subjects in a forum like this.

I would advise to search / study the synchronous electrical machines theory.

With best regards.
