Yes. The individual who produced the drawings can explain. The individual who maintains it can explain. The course tutor can explain. The capacitor panel manufacturer can explain. That's four people already.

1. Please take the trouble to register. It only takes a few seconds. That will show that you respect CR4 and value the responses which come.

2. Give more details than you have given, so that there are fewer ambiguities in your query.

3. Make a genuine attempt to get your answer on the web using Google or similar search engines.

Hope to see you as a member.

He is registered otherwise he could not post! I think for some reasons the default for post is Anonym if you used this as your last setting.

And please don't mention "Google" its Internet Search and for most posters I would advise to to a Internet Research!

Ah yes, i stand corrected, as far as posting is concerned. i really meant that i would like to see a username. Normally i try not to respond to Anonymous posters who cannot be bothered to create a user id. But then that is me.

i am fond of Google. So i have mentioned it. Perhaps i do research or just a simple search. To each his own, i guess.

Wow ! Some trolls have been very active ! This was a GA with three votes yesterday ! (i am not saying that it deserved to be one, just that some three people felt so). i was reading a thread about trolls and such things when this happened. Well, it takes all kinds i guess.

Presumably this is a three-phase system, such as for motors?

To me a capacitor panel indicates a decent-sized power factor correction panel, commonly used for three phase power factor correction, hence the 3 poles (or capacitors in each of the three phases).

Does that answer your question?

We can't use 4pole for Capacitor panel as Capacitors are delta connected and current is well balanced in all phases so why take extra cost of 4 pole MCB/MCCB
