Suggestions for a new Manometer

06/13/2007 10:41 AM

At the moment we are using the Dwyer Mark II tube manometer. I am wanting to change these and replace them with digital. This is for a paint booth. Any suggestions? These will be required to stay at (on) the paint booth so readings can be taken at will. Thank you, Bob

There are a number of companies manufacturing solid state manometers for environmental monitoring purposes used in the pharma and electronics industries.

Dwyer is one of those manufacturers I beleive but check out global spec or use your favorite search engine. Some of these instruments are hidden in with the BMS systems they are associated with though.

If you do not require a solid state system but still want to get away from the problems of liquids then Magnahelic gauges are a a good inexpensive alternative that can give you continuous readings without the need of a power source.

Dwyer makes more than one digital meter that will work. Check your local
Grainger cat. I use two different meters almost daily one for up to 200"wc. and the other for less the 27"wc. both are great they are small with metal sealed cases. In your application I would mount them in your control panel and they last for ever (9 volt battery allowing).

Hope this helps

Mike
