You can get this if you learn: How to Search the Internet - Hannon Library

Check the LynDoor™Industries, SmallFry/sensor site.

You probably won't be able to afford one anyway, so what is the point of finding one.

For the very smallest, consult the Guiness book of records.

Heres direct readout. http://www.keyence.com/products/process/pressure/ap-c30/index.jsp For an open and supposedly helpful forum, we've really got some rude people here hogging the responses. Go away, rude people.

And, we need less like you who refuse to do their own work, or or to learn to use a search engine.

Really, you expect others to do your work for you.

I expect to be paid in some fashion for my knowledge. Usually the minimum criteria is a polite, respectful attitude as payment. I do not respond well to demanding, anonymous troglodytes. If I could reach you, you would spank you.

Micro pressure sensor

Pressure micro-sensor with easy on-chip integration

Background

Pressure sensors are central to the operation of systems in areas as diverse as aviation, medical treatment and industrial process monitoring. One common technology is piezoresistive sensing (PRS), where pressure is measured via a simple a electric signal. A pressure difference causes deformation of a membrane atop a sealed cavity, translated into a measurable change in electric resistance of the deformed element (the piezoresistive effect). Sensors are usually manufactured by creating a cavity component and a membrane separately and then fixing these together. In addition, such sensors may require incorporation with additional circuitry in a separate step.

Let me know your application / target market

There are two very useful resources at your disposal.

1) Yourself: use the search engine on our sponsors website: globalspec.com for leads; then follow up with your emails and phone calls.

2) Other people: this group is known as tech reps or sales reps. Call or email them and let them do the legwork. As an aside: start a collection of their line cards: these are the brochures each tech rep has that tells what vendors ("lines") they represent. I have often needed something (e.g. a pressure sensor), then thumbed thru my line card collection and made a few phone calls - a day or three later - success. Hint: Don't mislead these folks - your will get a reputation as some sort of parasitic time waster and your phone calls/emails will not be answered.

I will gladly help someone that has made a sincere effort to find the information, and is having trouble. But the person that wants you to take him by the hand and put his finger on it is beyond the scope of my kindness."Help those that help themselves." I say.

Re: Smallest Pressure Transducer

Exactly what do you consider "your part".

Have you googled pressure transducers?

Have you compared features of the ones you found?

What is the smallest one that you have found so far,of your own volition,(not someone else's link) that meets your unspecified criteria?

Please send details,and pictures also.

Please,do tell, where you have searched in vain?

No one owes you anything,it is by our own free will that we help you--- or not.

I will gladly toss a life preserver to someone that falls overboard, and really needs help, but not to someone 10 feet from shore,in 2 feet of water, that is able to swim but is too lazy to swim or even stand up.

You "expect" others to help you.

I expect you to do your part first.

If that makes me rude, then I gladly wear the title.

Re: Smallest Pressure Transducer

Since no one has bothered to explain why all the ridicule, your question "the smallest water pressure transducer available in the market" is rather vague as it is very much application specific.

The follow up question that should have been asked by someone here (and not just me people like me all the time) is -

"Can you please provide more information on your application as your question is very much application specific and "the smallest" is relative and too vague to offer a decent answer. Please provide more information so we can better attempt to answer your question. Have you performed an internet search? Please provide more information."

Could you answer this above question for us?
