2GHz Amplifier Disappeared from Texas Instrument Page

06/19/2007 10:06 AM

This amplifier supposed to have worked faster than 2GHz is now invisible from Texas Instrument web site. Does any one know why? Was there a problem or it is listed under FBI control list for forbidden things? I thought I could use it.

Hi Shyam,

we had the same problem 10 years ago with a 1ns comparator, that was still available on request.

I suppose that is some control similar but not identical to the nato cocom list of export banned items.
